I  am teaching myself to knit.

As of right now, I can't believe any of you all think this is fun.

Planning to post non-knitting pics later.  I actually made Rylie a skirt, sort of like these today.  Not patchwork, though . . . Ry picked pink with green polka dots.

Yeah, says you.

LOL, I am determined to keep at it. As I browse for recycled sweater longie patterns because at least my sewing machine doesn't let me down. . .

I'd love to learn to knit, but seriously, who has the patience? If I could fast forward to knitting really fabulous, lovely items without having to go through the arduous process of learning and making endless mistakes, I'd be set.

That's how I feel. I really, really want to be able to churn out beautiful things . . . things like Erin up there can make . . . things like my grandma could make. But I have no patience at all.

I hate knitting. It kills my tendonitic wrists like nobody`s business. Crocheting, however, is the bee`s knees, even if it does take up three times as much yarn.
